Ishikawa hopes lessons learned at U.S. Open will help him at British Open
Ryo Ishikawa got 33rd in U.S. Open last month which better than 56th on last year. His problem was his physical stamina not strong enough for the tournament. To be in the leader group he need every bit of strength – mental and physical – he has.
Ishikawa is very popular golf player in Japan, once nicknamed “ The Bashful Prince “. He won his first event in amateur when he was only 15 year, turning pro in 2007 and won seven times on Japan Tour. He was the youngest player in top 100 world ranking.
He still working hard to win the major championships which has some improvement.
I think Ryo has more talented than people in the same ages. Ryo is trying to develop their skills all the time. Especially, if major competitions approach, Ryo will have more pressure. Although he got 33rd in U.S. open, he never stopped developing his skills. This is what he must try more and more than he did. As you can see, I think the people in same ages cannot do this like Ryo. Ryo show us about his achievement and abilities.
